Sharon Fruit – Persimmon

Sharon Fruit is characterized by its deliciously high sugar content and is eaten like an apple. An exotic fruit, more commonly known as the Persimmon, the Sharon fruit has an orange-red hue and distinct flavor and texture. The Sharon fruit ripens in October or November and can be kept in cold storage well into February.
